The 18V LXT 1/4″ Sheet Finishing Sander (DBO480) offers enhanced efficiency and mobility for sanding and finishing tasks. This model features a two-stage speed adjustment setting, superior ergonomics, and up to 60 minutes of run time on a single 6.0Ah battery. Users can easily match the speed to the application with either 11,000 or 14,000 orbits per minute (opm), adjustable via a one-touch electronic control switch. The large 1.5mm random orbit action is designed for efficient sanding, rapid material removal, and a swirl-free finish. The DBO480 utilizes quick-change 114 x 102mm hook-and-loop abrasive paper for increased versatility and includes a triangular pad for better access to corners and tight spaces.

The DBO480 also boasts a range of features to enhance user comfort and efficiency. The push-button control allows for two-stage speed control to optimize the operating speed according to finish requirements. A redesigned balancer reduces tool vibration in loaded operation to just 2.0m/s, ensuring a more comfortable user experience. The sander is compatible with various bases, coming standard with two interchangeable sanding padssquare and triangularproviding increased versatility for different applications. Additionally, the ergonomic grip design is contoured to the palm for comfortable single-handed use during prolonged applications. The dust box provided as standard facilitates efficient dust extraction, and the extraction port can be connected to a dust extraction system. The sander is compatible with both hook-and-loop style sanding sheets and standard sanding sheets split into quarters using the paper clamp.
