This product is suitable for 90mm to 100mm square posts and can be cast-in-place or retrofitted using adhesive or mechanical anchors. All necessary pins and fasteners for installation are included. Manufactured from heavier gauge steel, it ensures a stronger connection and is finished with ZMAX Galvanised for enhanced durability.

The CPT Concealed Post Base offers a clean, concealed look while providing a 25mm standoff height above concrete to help reduce the potential for decay to timber at the post end. Available in 90mm (Black or Stainless Steel), 115mm, 140mm, and 200mm sizes, the CPT forms part of the Simpson Strong-Tie concealed structural connector range, which combines structural strength with invisibility. The post support blade can be used as a template for drilling dowel holes. The black powder-coated base provides a modern appearance. Tested and load-rated engineering data are available. Suitable for Glulam and solid sawn timber, it can be installed with either mechanical or chemical anchors, depending on engineering specifications. The 90mm size is also available in 316 Stainless Steel for more corrosive environments such as coastal areas. When installing, use all specified fasteners. Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non-braced or non-top-supported installations. The holes in the CPT tabs are sized for 12mm diameter anchors, and for cast-in-place anchors, there should be 22mm (3mm) of anchor above the top surface of the concrete.
