Engineered to be structurally sound and cost-effective, Pryda Angle Brace is ideal for bracing roofs, walls, floors, and other components of timber-framed buildings. Whether used as bracing or nogging, Pryda Angle Brace can be installed either on the surface of the timber framing or checked in flush with the surface using a chisel or a checking head on a circular saw.
Constructed from zinc-coated steel (Z275), this product complies with Australian Standards AS7120.1-2010, AS/NZS1170, AS4055-2006, AS1684.2-2010, and AS1684.3-2010 when installed according to Prydas Design Guidelines. Designed to brace timber wall frames in domestic construction, this universal bracket is also suitable for stairs or shelves, and internal or external corner supports.
