Additionally, the stems in the stirrups are sealed for termite protection in accordance with AS1397-2001. The stirrup itself has a thickness of 4mm, providing a sturdy and reliable anchor. This half stirrup post anchor is primarily designed for bolting to existing concrete but can also be cast-in with a minimum clearance of 75mm. It is ideally suited for situations where the post is located against a wall or step and can only be bolted from one side.
